Today's Cool Site... Take a hikeI spend most of my work time indoors, beating on a keyboard. And I work three hours on Saturday, doing my weekend show. Don't get me wrong—I love my work. But at day's end, I want some fresh air. One of my favorite activities is hiking in the mountains. Or, sometimes, I take a leisurely walk with my husband and son. In fact, I bought a pedometer to track my hiking and walking. I've also started using Walker Tracker. Walker Tracker lets you upload data about your walks. So, you can see how much you've walked. One of the benefits of walking is increased energy. By tracking your walking, you can see how it correlates to your overall sense of wellness. If you have a competitive spirit, invite your friends and family to join, too. You can see who is logging more footsteps. This will encourage you to take the stairs instead of the elevator. You may also find yourself driving less. So, you'll have more cash in your pocket!
