Today's Cool Site... Seeing things from a different viewThe humble spreadsheet makes it easy to enter and track data. That's why programs like Microsoft Excel are a staple of office life. But, let's face it. For many people, a long list of numbers can be difficult to comprehend. Visual people like me prefer to view data in different ways. That's what's so great about Many Eyes. You can upload your data to the site. Then, select from a variety of different visualizations. What are visualizations? They're simply different ways of presenting data. For example, you view your data as a pie chart or a graph. Or, choose from more exotic visualizations. Maybe you don't have a set of data you'd like to view. That's okay. You can explore visualizations others have created. There are also data sets others have saved to the site. You can select one and then choose a visualization. Now, I hope your eyes haven't glazed over with all my talk about data! Much of the data on the site will fascinate you. And the visualizations are downright cool!![]() Every day, Team Komando produces some of the best content you'll find anywhere on the Internet.
